We know how important your gear is and we know how hard it can be to find the right stuff for you, so this year we put together a list of products that we believe not only do their job, but also elevate the running experience. With a criterion of simplicity, craftsmanship, affordability and design, we hope you give these products a try and enjoy them as much as we do.
Our Favorite Running Belt: Naked Running BandNot your average running belt. This running band is fitted, minimal and full of storage. When the vest is too much, we grab the Naked Running Band. It’s called Naked for a reason.
Our Favorite Minimal Hydration Bottle : Simple Hydration Water Bottle
The only bottle specifically designed to slide into the waist of your shorts and stay there. It works and it’s awesome. This is the perfect bottle for the minimalist runner. Once you find the sweet spot of where to place this on your waistband, it will set you free!
Our Favorite Fuel: Spring Energy
This is the anti-gel of running nutrition. Its real food and you can tell. Delicious and nutritious, this will get you through your run no matter how long. And the best part, you won’t get sick of it.
Minimal headphones that work well and are made specifically for runners. If you are the type that likes to bring your tunes out on the trail with you, then you understand the frustration of finding the right headphones for your ears. The Tarah make the search a lot easier.

Whether you are racing, training, or commuting, it’s the right amount of capacity and storage for it all. The back synch makes the fit customizable and to say it is comfortable, is an understatement.

Mid-range price with long range brightness, this headlamp performs incredibly on those nighttime or early morning runs. It packs a lot of power for its size, sits on the head nicely and comes with a rechargeable battery.
Our Favorite Poles: Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z Trekking Poles
These poles have been around for a while and have gotten stronger and lighter over the years. They break down easily and can handle just about anything. If you are planning to tackle some big mountains next year, give them a shot. You won’t regret it.

Our Favorite Sunglasses: Tifosi Optics Swank Sunglasses
We looked at a lot of glasses and did not find anything better at this price point. Great quality for a great price, the Swanks are the perfect trail running sunglasses. They have anti slip pads on the nose and they are incredibly comfortable. The best part, the frames are made from a flexible material that bends every which way to keep these glasses from breaking like a lot of eye wear does.

Our Favorite Coffee: Nossa Familia Coffee
We like coffee. More importantly, we like good coffee that treats the planet well and keeps us truckin along day after day. Nossa Familia has been a partner of ours, fueling our sun rise runs for a while now and we are in love.
Our Favorite Recovery Drink: Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild Recovery
Tailwind has done it again. This time they created the perfect post run nutrition with their Rebuild Recovery. Like their original powder, the Rebuild Recovery mixes easily into water or milk, is easy to drink, and tastes great. You really can’t go wrong with this stuff.

The All Day Duffel solves all of the problems you’ve ever had when storing your run stuff. With a separate compartment for shoes and plenty of pockets to stay organized, this bag travels well and holds everything you need for a successful run experience.
Rest days are just as important as run days and that’s why we created the Trailhead Jogger. These pants will keep you comfortable, warm and happy when you are off of the trail and recharging.
Our Favorite Post Run Cap: Territory Outpost Cap
The perfect post run cap to keep you looking good and feeling warm. The Outpost Cap is a must have for the winter season.
