NW ALPINE x TERRITORY RUN CO.
A Collaboration with NW Alpine
NW Alpine has been building products for climbers and alpine enthusiast since 2010, right here in our Oregon backyard. This past summer we learned about their built in Oregon technical pant, did some testing and became obsessed.
Designed as a three-season weight multi-sport pant, the Volo Pant offers the comfort of your favorite sweat pant while excelling at any activity where breathability and stretch are desirable. It features an elastic waistband, welded thigh pocket, DWR coating, and a custom collaborative logo from Territory designer, Johnny Bertram.
The Volo Pant perfectly matches the Territory Run Co. blend of performance and style. We proudly stand behind NW Alpine for their superior performance apparel that is built right here in Oregon.
THE TEST
We put them to a test through a high wind advisory, 32 degree sunset run in the Columbia River Gorge.
PRODUCT TESTIMONIAL from Runner of the Wild, Matt Westermyer
"I ran through some stout Columbia Gorge wind, up some steep climbs into snow with temps in the 30's but also some fast twisty descents where it was warmer and the Volo Pant performed great in all conditions.
They provide a good wind and cold barrier, are lightweight and offer some stretch so you barely notice them. They are a crossover between a light soft shell and tights. They fit drape close to your leg and ankle so they aren't swishing around and breathe nicely.
They are perfect for a long run in cold conditions, for throwing in your pack at the trailhead in case conditions worsen, or even just to pull on after a run so you don't offend anybody with your short shorts at the brewery.
