June 10th- June 11th
We are hosting a weekend full of hanging out and running for Runners of the Wild. It will be a chance to connect with fellow runners and have fun running in and around Portland. We plan to make the summit an annual tradition going forward. Feel free to bring plus ones- just include them on your numbers when RSVPing.
The Skyline Tavern BBQ will be $20 which will include a donation to Forest Park Conservancy. All other events are free to attend.
Itinerary
Saturday 9am: Team Scavenger Run
This will be a team running event where we form groups of 3-4 people to navigate to different checkpoints throughout Forest Park. We will have cool prizes for all involved. It will be 10-15 miles in total.
Saturday 6-9pm: SKYLINE TAVERN BBQ
We have gained access to the amazing venue of the Skyline Tavern on Skyline Blvd for a private event for a Runners of the Wild BBQ. Skyline is no longer a functioning bar so Territory will be offering beer, refreshments and grillables. There will be yard games, music and a raffle with multiple brands involved. $20 covers all food and drinks. We will also be making this a fundraiser for the Forest Park Conservancy- 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Forest Park Conservancy. The Skyline Tavern offers a great outdoor area for grilling and hanging out.
Sunday 9am: Tillamook Forest Historic Loop:
We will offer a run in the Tillamook Forest's Historic Loop (8 miles with longer option) and organize carpooling once we get close to the weekend.
We will meet at the Rogers Camp Trailhead at 9am.
